RiverFest Day, September 4-5, 2010 - PRESS RELEASE (Click Here)

Frenchtown Riverfest takes place on Labor Day Weekend, Sept. 4-5 from 12-6pm, Bridge Street. This year’s theme is Mardi Gras/Arti Gras and includes live music, crafts, art, games, food, vendors and a pet contest. This event benefits the Hunterdon Human Shelter. The event kicks off on Friday, Sept. 3rd with a Wine Tasting under the Big Tent from 6:00 – 8:30 pm. Tickets in advance are $25 or $30 at the door. Wine Tasting proceeds support the Hunterdon Land Trust. For reservation and tickets call, 908-237-4582 or visit www.hlta.org.

Local artists are encouraged to participate in the “Mardi Gras/ Arti Gras” Mailable Mask project. These masks will be exhibited at the wine tasting on Friday night, and throughout the weekend. Proceeds from their sales with benefit the Hunterdon Humane Animal Shelter.
